On 16 April 2024, at 18:00, M17 hosted the Artist talk with the artist Anatoly Kryvolap and the presentation of the catalogue of the exhibition “Foretypes“, which was prepared by art historian Valerii Sakharuk.
At the event, visitors were able to see the exhibition, talk to the artist, curator and project organisers, learn more about art, ask questions to the participants, read the printed edition and buy their own copy of the catalogue.
The event took place with the participation of Anatoly Kryvolap, curator of the exhibition and author of the catalogue Valeriy Sakharuk and Natalia Shpytkovska, director of M17.
The exhibition “Foretypes” at M17 CAC is the first to combine the artist’s abstract works with icons. Abstract works that characterise the artist’s oeuvre from the 1990s to the 2000s, as well as icons created over the past year are on display. The exhibition was curated by Valeriy Sakharuk.
