About the exhibition

On 11 May, the grand opening of the first of three locations of the “Concentration of the Will” project within the framework of the 15th Platform for Cultural Initiatives “The New Aspirations” will take place at the MARI’s exhibition space. The project reveals the Ukrainian vision of will through the prism of artists' works. Today, it is the will that helps the Ukrainian people to accumulate the strength for a victorious struggle, and it is precisely this idea that contemporary Ukrainian and international artists have been working on to be presented at the exhibition. The project is jointly organised by the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Modern Art Research Institute and the M17 Contemporary Art Centre. The event is supported by the Art Support Fund. The project will be successively demonstrated in the spaces of all the three organising institutions.
