About the Project
The solo exhibition Belonging Path (06.01.2025 - 06.02.2025) by Ukrainian artist Nazar Bilyk presents a powerful and personal response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Through a series of sculptures and installations, Bilyk explores how the war has shaped his life, his art, and his understanding of belonging.
At the heart of the exhibition are themes of loss, resilience, and identity. Bilyk reflects on the human cost of conflict while offering a broader look at how destruction impacts culture and memory. His works transform deeply personal experiences into a universal story, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on hope, resistance, and the strength to endure.
Belonging Path is not only a response to the realities of war but also a testament to the enduring role of art in times of crisis. ASF in Prague is proud to host this exhibition, which serves as both a space for contemplation and a reminder of the power of creativity to navigate adversity and inspire connection.
